Funny how most of the designs are based around the tower inside a wreath; wonder how that started...

I can only describe this as immensely Chelsea
don't think 1879 is totally necessary, do you ?
Don't really like them circular designed ones.
Me neither, as nice as it is, its far too Chelsea.
The tower with 2 wreaths either side and EFC underneath, simple
The circular design's a part of our history too mate.Forget the circular ones lads[...]The shield is part of our history.

The circular design's a part of our history too mate.
I'm not sure why peeps keep on saying a circular design is 'too Chelsea' when a lot of good modern football crests are round, not just Chelski's, and the same can be alleged about using a shield, like 'too 'boro', or 'too Liverpool'.

I see what you mean with one of them mate, but it's still a round badge imo, albeit rather fussy one.If you are talking about the 70's 80's badge then I beg to differ. It was the actual crets and wreaths that was in a circular cloth as that was the way badges were made for sewing on. The shield has always been part of it doesn't matter what shape a shield is a shield.

Nice.Badges, Badges, Badges, Badges, mushroom, mushroom..
