It's a snowball of negative vibes. I'm going tomorrow so will be singing my heart out for the blue boys and hopefully the "boo boys" will stay behind their keyboards. COYFBB
Some of those 'boo boys' will have been at Watford with me singing our hearts out all game while all those cowards on the pitch and in the dug-out pissed all over us Everton fans who were there.
They should stay at home. Booing the team is counterproductive like at Wembley the other year for example.
Booing should be left till the game finishes, but I'm not going to have a pop at those who decide to boo a player/the team during a game, and whilst I may not agree with it, if another blue wants to do it, then as I say, I wouldn't have a pop at them because they have every right to do it if that's how they feel. It's not as if the booing isn't deserved by the way.
Why would they fight for us if we don't fight for them? I've never got the logic myself, we want them to fight every second for the fans but when something goes wrong we boo. I go mad when it happens.
We do seem to have an awful lot of ‘glass, what glass?’ types too though, indeed we have some who would strenuously deny the existence of glass, insisting that the only water they see is the salty drops of their own tears.Plenty of cause for the negativity at the moment, but it's also a lot to do with the nature of the internet. Football forums will always attract more 'glass half empty' types. That's just a fact of life.
Dortmund Chief Exec calls English fans "clients".
The School of Science gets BFS as manager. And we swallowed it like good little customers that we are.
And we are supposed to be happy?
I am off the booze for March and the month is already endless.
If that's all it takes, then bollocks to it. Rather have some dignity.
They're entitled to boo if they want. Most will be season ticket holders with lots of away credits who have witnessed absolutely no effort from these players all season. If all these fans stayed at home I doubt there would be a massive rush to replace them. It's a snowball of negative vibes. I'm going tomorrow so will be singing my heart out for the blue boys and hopefully the "boo boys" will stay behind their keyboards. COYFBB
Like to throw this out to GOT members, are we not too negative with the posts / threads despite our current conundrum ?
being 9000 miles away I have lost the plot when it comes to the ins and outs of my beloved team were going to the match and the heated pub debates with my mates kept me up to speed also - telling the R/S mates to shut it while grown ups are talking
I joined GOT late last year just before Big Sam was brought in let me state Sam wasnt an option fancied , my call was Tuchel or Simeone , with Silva being a more realistic option
my point is I the latest Threads on GOT for example
Burnley match - over double more of the posts are predicting a loss versus a win , against a team that is in free fall , maybe I am foolhardy or ignorant or just a divvy but I always believe we will win no matter who we play or how bad we were - been wrong plenty of times but goes with the territory .
Big Sam - there is +5 threads related to him almost 80 to 90% wanting him out NOW also not just since the bad run started , many are rightly not happy with him but who else would have taken the job when there was a crescendo it was taking too long , he did give us a good results when he first came in not pretty but I believe it saved us from the drop , it is a short term contract and there should be no illusions there is an extention with a new decent choice for next season - therefore what good are the continous calls for him to be booted now and what are the options if that does happen ?
the above is two examples were majority of posts are what I would regard as negative about our club and seem to me that if you are positive it will come right back at you were you are slagged off as delusional
