I really do hope he proves me wrong.

But, just like Robles, Judas McCarthy, Alcatraz and AIDS McGeady he will be a failure.

I think it's because the strikers aren't used to playing with him. It'll take time to learn to read whether he's gonna do a "scuffed to the front post" one or a "lofted over to the other side of the penalty area and out for a throw" one.

Yeah. Very much so.

Did fine.

Some basics need improving on.
Turned his back when closing down the shot for their goal and was out of position and unaware of the threat.
When high up the pitch, needs to have more determination in chasing back and regaining the ball when losing it cheaply, but hopefully that will come with both physical fitness and mental toughness as his amount of games and time increases.

Only Pickford did fine today, along with an improvement in the second half from the rest, and a good cameo from Aznou.

We didn't deserve anything from the overall performance.
