Yeah that's exactly what laudo isn't saying, yes.
….wouldn’t surprise me if he started tomorrow, it might be the best option we have rather than not include Garner in an already depreciated midfield.

None of that works because O'Brien at RB - admittedly a step up from putting Patterson in there again - doesn't work for us.
The foundations of the win the other night were the back four. O'Brien was MOTM and Tarkowski had his best game all season because he knew what Jake was up to and vice versa.
Dont go with that back four again and we're a midden waiting to ship 2/3 goals.
If we're short in MF, btw, then look no further than Moyes allowing Armstrong to leave on loan.
He's never PL ready.
Too lightweight.
@Joey66Did you mean Joey the Gardener?
Garner at RB has been a success. You dont break that up unless you're an utter fool.Armstrong would be pretty useful right now, but wouldn't have benefitted from his development at Preston if he was in our squad, he'd not have played much.
We also still need a team for Forest, and right now (assuming Keane is still out) the options are either a makeshift RB or a makeshift CM, or... we play CM Garner at CM and RB Patterson at RB. I'd rather see Garner at RB, but the hole at CM would be a bigger problem than the hole at RB.
Correct.Patterson is being shown as injured and not back until 13th December. I think this forces Moyes hand. Garner to RB and roll the dice for CM
Correct.
He's such abag though I can anticipate he'll get him in MF with Alcaraz, put O'Brien back in at RB and send a patched up Keane into CD where him and Tarkowski having been completely at odds with each other.
....he'd also offer more than Coleman based on the fact he exists on the pitch anyway.
He also did actually offer more than him the last time they both got any game time and got more assists and everything overall (although I know it's a poor record regardless for both). But he's not Seamus Coleman, so even if he gets man of the match he'll get blasted as the worst footballer in existence anyway.
As to your previous post - so you've never advocated for any young player to be given game time? I vaguely remember you wanting to give Tim Ironbum a chance, despite the fact he's been largely garbage with the ball for many games, until he finally had 1 good start the other day - is this not the exact same thing you tried to pretend laudo wasn't saying? I love me a good double standard, like this.
For his sake, Patterson should probably move on, but the fact he doesn't play and still gets brought up just to be slated despite not playing is hilarious.
If he's that good why are Forest below us in the table. Surely he'd be driving them on?Disagree, he absolutely is, or at least has been this season. Those have shown it over multiple years though so whether or not he's permanently in that class I don't know.
Bit exotic that for Sgt Major Moyes. What about a back 3 of Tarks, Job and Myko then our two strikers up front at the same time? Playing a 3-5-2 to try to compete in the midfield and push Notts Forest back?
Bit exotic that for Sgt Major Moyes.
I feel like this isn't a real question? They won 1 game before Dyche was appointed because Marianakis and Ange are both mental, and regardless teams have 11 players. Declan Rice just finished 14th for West Ham when Arsenal bought him.If he's that good why are Forest below us in the table. Surely he'd be driving them on?
But Declan Rice drove them on to win in Europe. I think Anderson is a good player don't get me wrong but he's still unproven at the very highest levelI feel like this isn't a real question? I'd argue the prem is a higher level than the conference league, but yeah like I said this is Anderson's first season performing quite at this level (but he was underrated last season too). But *this season so far* he is probably the best or second best CM in the league after Rice. But Declan Rice drove them on to win in Europe.
