That was the day his Everton career ended. Moyes lost faith in him that day and he won’t play here again u less its through necessity.
I do feel he and we didn’t help ourselves with his development, saint it two seasons ago he should have gone out on loan and honed his craft. He hasn’t and soon he will be a mid 20s defender who can’t really make sound defensive decisions well in clutch moments.

A terrible temperament and a bad trainer is what the rumours are about him. It takes something for a Scottish manager not to go near him. They're notoriously clannish but even Moyes wont entertain him.
Willie Miller's comments on Saturday underline the disconnect between Patterson and professional football at any level. Those comments pretty much cratered Patterson as Miller is a highly respected former pro and international up there and I expect Clarke tonight to ring the changes at RB and Patterson wont start.
