Again, absolutely no issues with him. Hung out to dry by the pathetic excuse of a player in front of him. No idea if Dibling would be any better because the manager refuses to drop McNeil. Patterson shouldn't be dropped against Brighton, but clearly O'Brien will go back to right back.
It would be difficult to find much worse, that's for sure. Patterson is not really a significant improvement on O'Brien, and Mykolenko is surely the worst left back possibly in the top two divisions in this country. £30m spent on the pair as well, criminal.….he left Patterson on when hooking McNeil,
I thought Patterson did ok (again) but neither full back looks capable of delivering a decent cross into the box. Surely we can find better.
He was stunned to learn about him coming off mate, and was so cold towards Moyes. Will try to take a SS later in the dayTo the comments about body language between Moyes and Patto when he got subbed off, I didn’t sense anything frigid. Looked like any other sub. Maybe some were expecting petting and a delicate but intense open-mouth kiss for a solid performance?
This, or a 3-5-2 with Ndiaye buzzing off Barry and KDH - Garner - ??? (take your pick from Gueye, Röhl, Armstrong, Iroegbunam) in the middle. It was very telling when he was getting frustrated at the lack of movement in front of him.
Played some lovely stuff and linked up with midfield well in the second half when we went to three at the back. I’d like to see Aznou on the other side and Dibling and N’Diaye on both wings.
Considering a lot of posters saw him as a potential liability he's done okay.Defensively he looked ok...prob better running forward with the ball than obrien but can't cross....he's doing his best
Looks like someone forgot which username they were logged in as.Is 3 years "many years" now?
Patto's done alright tonight.
Offers nothing. Anyone saying otherwise is just polshing a turd and they know it.
He goes off and Gueye gets into the position Patterson should have been getting into - a defensive midfielder!!! - and provides the inteligence to set up the goal.
No wonder Moyes went with three at the back second half because him and Mykolenko were stinking the place out again.
He played well yesterday, and I was surprised he was brought off.
Scottish Mykolenko
