Id like to be able not to hate a player we just signed.

This lad is signed as a defender, and Ilm telling you right now he cannot defend. Positionally he is utterly clueless and he likes to spend all his time in the opposition half.

I really don't consider £10-12m on a 20 year old British player to be a gamble in the slightest. That's a solid signing that we'll probably make profit in (or he'll be excellent for years to come, either way, it's a win).
