Was once invited to bellfield by colin harvey to watch training. 1986.was ace. The attention to detail was impressive and in the shooting practice at the end they absolutely whacked the ball with hardly any effort at all. Sheedy of course but also Sharp and especially Warren Aspinall if anyone remembers him.

So you sponsor their kit? If they keep giving their jersey out after every match do Everton ring you up and ask for some more money? XD Great article, Naismith seems like a sound guy.

You could have least put some gel on your hair like.

As some of you may or may not know, once or twice a year Everton invite player sponsors to go to Finch Farm, have a tour and meet their player and watch them train. I was fortunate enough to be granted this incredible opportunity and it really was amazing.

We had a tour of the academy, which is incredible, the facilites are top notch as you'd expect and you can tell how proud the club is of the players they've produced over the years. We also watched first team training which was a surreal experience.

We had some lunch and then had a chat with Steven Naismith, and to his credit he was a top bloke and really interesting to chat too. I wrote up a little article based on what he said so you can read what he said here.

Also met Leighton Baines, Phil Neville, Phil Jagielka, Darron Gibson, John Stones and Apostolos Vellios (who is even more handsome in real life). I also found out that kevin mirallas wears tights.

I also had the pleasure/displeasure (you decide) of seeing Tony Hibbert working out half naked.

As you can understand I couldn't get too many pictures but this is one of the training:

All in all it was a great day and a great insight to how fantastic our club really is.

Boss mate, good to know the 70p in every pound is being well spent.
