Naismith: “It’s been difficult coming back from injury (a serious knee injury that he obtained in October 2011"

...goat'll be all over that.

Moyes needs to start playing Naismith in the right position, so he can actually benefit the team. His movement is some of the best I've seen in recent years.

........I've been lucky to have the guided tour and the facilities are fabulous. I went when there was no players about. The pitches are apparently exactly the same specification as Goodison. Moyes really pays attention to detail. What I found strange was how firm the pitches are and it doesn't surprise me that there are more knee ligament injuries these days.
Impressive place, though, and must look good when new players come for talks.

yeah there are some that are the same specifications are goodison, with the same undersoil heating system too

must be inspiring for the youth players too as the walls are littered with academy graduate photos and the academy set up is the same as the first team

As some of you may or may not know, once or twice a year Everton invite player sponsors to go to Finch Farm, have a tour and meet their player and watch them train. I was fortunate enough to be granted this incredible opportunity and it really was amazing.

We had a tour of the academy, which is incredible, the facilites are top notch as you'd expect and you can tell how proud the club is of the players they've produced over the years. We also watched first team training which was a surreal experience.

We had some lunch and then had a chat with Steven Naismith, and to his credit he was a top bloke and really interesting to chat too. I wrote up a little article based on what he said so you can read what he said here.

Also met Leighton Baines, Phil Neville, Phil Jagielka, Darron Gibson, John Stones and Apostolos Vellios (who is even more handsome in real life). I also found out that kevin mirallas wears tights.

I also had the pleasure/displeasure (you decide) of seeing Tony Hibbert working out half naked.

As you can understand I couldn't get too many pictures but this is one of the training:

All in all it was a great day and a great insight to how fantastic our club really is.

HOW DARE YOU.

Tony Hibbert is boss.
