My 50kg weight loss challenge

I’ve lost 18kg over the last 5 months and I’m the lightest I’ve been for about 5 years.

Aiming for around 80kg so there’s still work to be done.

My advice is find something you like doing such as 5 a side or padel. When you enjoy playing something it doesn’t even feel like exercise
Also I have always hated breakfast early am in normal life unless away on holiday which is seldom now - so I cut out breakfast all together & suppers too eating late at night etc - so eggs - in many forms of meals omelettes scrambled boiled etc are fantastic for my blood sugars combined with natural insulin & diabetic tablets - losing weight should be a natural process - do i miss some foods & drink definitely yes - but it just kicking a habit that takes time to get used to - I had one 1/2 pint drink of lager on new years eve ...

The people who use the fat jabs will surely go back to their original walrus like appearance once their fat jab budget runs out.

If they were too lazy to keep themselves in reasonable shape originally, then their exercise habits aren’t going to change once the drugs have worn off.

They also can suffer really badly from excess skin folds, due to losing the fat so quickly and they`re skin not being able to re adjust as quickly as the fat was lost.

It’s obvious but the ale, bread and general junk food do the damage.

I can speak from experience when I say eat less, move more is literally the only way to shift it.

As mentioned, you can pay £200 for fat jabs but when you’ve spent a few grand and it stops working most of it will go back on.

Get into the gym or outside - get moving and it will fall off.

Has anyone else noticed that they are getting adverts for these meds and youtube videos (and the like) for them? I presume it's because it's new year and people are susceptible to the ads given people right about now are deciding to lose weight.

I hope that the @the golden visionary and all others losing weight this year go about it in a sensible and healthy way and chase long term sustainability of weight and health goals rather than a quick fix and that does seem to be the prevailing attitude on the thread so more power to you all.
I actually stated to the a nurse about the diabetic nurse - that she just pushed the injection on me - a quick fix - she smiled & stated there is a shortage now all the rich are purchasing it .....

There was an issue with supply due to the trump tariffs, the stocks for the nhs were guaranteed through contract at a fixed price well before.

Oh yes but I am going back a few years ago - if I had stayed on it - not a problem ... I handed mine back in its a colossal price to the NHS ...

As I stated works great for some people etc ....

The cost agreed to the nhs is well below the market retail price. That's the benefit of the collective buying power of a single national entity. That they do similar deals with some of the same firms is also part of the greater relationship. Data, feedback, outliers, and administering alterations shared with companies goes into developing tweaked and new versions of meds.

There`s loads of knock off stuff around too.

You have to question peoples sanity, when they`re getting jabbed by a " mate " in someones kitchen.
Say the same about this re the many versions of steroids knocking around, botox and the knock off ones, and now these anti eating jabs.

Speaking of which...
