My 50kg weight loss challenge

Sound. Nice one.
I upped my water intake to 3L per day recently and found myself in the bathroom most of the day and half of the night. Broken sleep is bad for you too. My urologist told me that my body can't handle that much water and to cut back to 2L. I have and feel much better.

In saying that, if your body can handle more water it's good advice.

Ill ask my nhs nutritionist what the best route is.

So this is what does me head in, but 2l is roughly a pint in every quarter of your waking day. Morning, afternoon, evening and night. Right? My dad maths says…

Yeah more or less.
I think the 2l guideline generally includes teas, coffees and juice as well as water. Getting through half of it easily in GOT mugs of coffee.
I've always taken it in as "2L water", and not 2L any fluids personally, but to each their own etc.

I also can't really go past 3L, especially if it's not sport/activity day where you need more water in you - just end up going for a piss 500 times ffs

Nah, those tablets are just electrolytes. It's just well known that increased water levels are great for dieting, even more so if you exercise frequently.

I've had 4-6L per day for about 10 years and weight flies off me whenever I try.
Do you actually think drinking water makes you lose fat quicker as a a direct mechanism?

It's an appetite suppressant, it flushes crap out of my system, and it's been proven to be a requirement to break down fats.

Join any official diet plan in the world and they'll immediately tell you to drink more water.

I've also lost loads of weight multiple times in my life.

Water isn't the magic answer but to ignore it is stupid.

I do 2L of water, usually with Chia seeds for added fibre, but everything counts from tea and coffee to berries and cucumber to gravy and curry sauce. I can't be arsed trying to figure out the water content of a strawberry...

Wanted to 'like' this, but the way it's been ended stopped me.
