it is a shooting, some people have been killed, the reason that the clown(s) acted as he/they did is not yet clear

Some german guy on redit posted this translation of the car park video, no idea if it's accurate.

It's difficult to understand what he really says as that resident screams at him so hard.
The screaming resident insults him as something similar to a "fecking immigrant". (Before he kept saying people must call the cops and move away, as that guy has a gun)
The shooter responds with "I'm German!! I was born in a socially difficult area...in the...in the Turkish region here
[impossible to understand]... was in stationary treatment."
The resident screams "psychiatry or what stationary treatment you idiot?!"
The shooter then yells back "I didn't do anything, shut the feck up man!"
Then the residents tries to warn others once again that they should move away as the guy has a loaded gun. That's when the shooter starts shooting on the parking deck.

You actually cannot stop it.

I am 51, and for all my life there have been nutjobs/freedom fighters/religious extremists (delete at will) trying it on.

The only ones you can stop are those prepared ,eventually. to accept that a political solution is the only way to stop the carnage. Which these islands reached with the IRA. (But stuff still occurs over there)

You cannot defeat terrorism. You cannot defeat a word. All you can do is minimise their impact, via intel mainly, and vigilance.

hearts and minds goes a long way to preventing recruiting though, lots of studies suggesting that preventing refugees reaching the safety of europe would create more terrorists than shutting the boarders would, just one example. So it turns out this may be the actions of a white far right scumbag, rather that the usual Islamic perpetrators. It emphasises the need to perform background checks on people wanting to come to our country. Background checks may not be foolproof, but to not even bother conducting them is negligence in the extreme.

Says she cant get her head around what a close call she's had.

She's from Sarajevo originally & had to use the tunnels & the snipers alley on a daily basis there, reckons she heard bullets whizz by and hit close by loads of times.
