I think when they say it's an isolated incident they mean that the vast majority of Muslims don't blow other folk up. Sadly there's an awful lot of fear about right now, and rather than acting responsibly, we're getting a whole bunch of politicians who are doing their best to stoke it up. Sad times.

Genuine question, do you think we'd be in the grim situation we are today had the west kept out of the middle east affairs for the past 30 odd years ?

Genuinely baffled at this. Why are right wing fascist nutjobs going out and murdering, erm... mainly white Germans. Makes no sense whatsoever but then maybe that's because these type of scumbags are so warped they're beyond comprehension.

The low body count might suggest they were more picky with their choice of target.

Perhaps because mistakenly they see their nation invaded by people of a different colour and want to get back at their so called leaders ....terrorists in any other name

Bad but not quite as bad would be my guess. The world is generally a pretty grim place but the west have certainly not helped in the pursuit of world peace. Impossible question to answer tho.

My point was the extreme opposite of the quote I stated, or at least that's how it was intended.

"White extremists shooting white peopl- oh wait, they all have mental issues" is on the same page, for me, as blaming every single muslim and Islam for the attacks in the last few years.
 
Guy at McDonalds was using a pistol and seemingly managed to miss everyone in front of him with it.

I doubt we'd all be picking flowers in fields together but fairly sure we wouldn't have been targeted anywhere near as much.
