Besic is going to be a top player if he can stay fit! So many injuries already but that could be down the poor management. Only say that because it's easy to blame Martinez for anything at the moment :) McCarthy and Besic could form a great partnership however neither would like the holding role barry does I don't think.

See, for our centre we have not had our key players fit at the same time. If we did then we would look a better side = more points.

No mate I'd go a midfield three with Barkley and Lennon either side - not so much wingers as inside forwards.

I'd involve him for certain but at the moment I see that as our best team to get results in the next two games.

After that, at home, go with Lennon/Kev or Lennon/Del with Besic and McCarthy in the centre of midfield. Barks off Rom.

id have:

Lennon - Besic -- McCarthy -- Deulofeu

No way would i consider mirallas again other than as a 89th minute sub.
 
Reckon hel start narrow left of midfield similar to home game he was injured in earlre in the season. Straight swap for Kev and Barry in for Stones

Besic has to play. Barry is still key to us retaining possession when needed, McCarthy also needs to play.

Lennon (if fit) is on fire atm and Barkley can be given a free role as he won't be tasked with as much defending if he has three midfielders behind him.

It's the best way to stand a chance of beating a team like Arsenal or even Chelsea given how vulnerable we were in the last 15 on Saturday. Pack the midfield with three quality ball players and let Lennon do the running with Barkley given a roaming role.
 
I've not been overly impressed with McCarthy as of late. I'd play Besic alongside Barry or part of a 3 along with Barkley. Besic has so much more to his game and as a defensive player, manages to excite us fans and helps the transition of playing forward.

Lennon and Deloufeu either flank would be ideal along with Mo as CM. They make the direct runs that Mo can seem to pick out 2/3 times a game..
