It's been a great few days for Everton!

Now, despite his injuries he's been rewarded not only for his ability on the pitch but for his passion and being a team player.

With the wage rise and length of contract its the club telling him he belongs with our "family".

Very happy for him. I think the injuries are part of him adapting to the league as Martinez said last week.

If he can be fit for 80%+ games next season we can add another few positions to our league placing. He's literally the ONLY centre mid we have as well (other than McCarthy out of position!)
