Should be a definite starter for me alongside McCarthy.

Howard
Coleman Browning Jagielka Baines
McCarthy Besic Barry
Pienaar
Lukaku Naismith

Or with Bobby's formation:

Howard
Coleman Jagielka Browning Baines
McCarthy Besic
Oviedo Naismith Pienaar
Lukaku

Gaz Baz ?

You're right. Our defense is worse than it's been in the longest time (never been our strong side either). We're playing with makeshift CBs. And a delusional coach. We're boned. Dzeko and Ibisevic can't score as many goals as we're going to concede.
It will be an interesting match, but I think Susic shouldn't choose Besic as CB. That way he won't be able to help attacks at much and as I watched at the WC and against Cyprus that Pjanic-Besic duo works pretty well. They work perfectly together as they were made for each other :-). And don't be so pessimistic: injured players in both teams so I think You've got the same odds to win that match.

Probably the greatest footballing talent ever to grace a football pitch, hes prolly too good for us already, im expecting him to move to Madrid 1st week in January for 64m.

Just passing on what ive heard lads.

Not sure about Besic over Gaz Baz personally, for me Barry/McCarthy is still our best partnership, but Barry isnt getting any younger and will need to used correctly, young Mume is more than capable of filling in when needed.

Bit worried about Gibson tho personally, he really doesnt look right for me on the brief appearances hes played, but hopefully its just down to missing nearly a year of football.

I'd start Besic over Barry personally, but like the idea of all three of them in there, especially with the Stones news.

Besic Barry McCarthy
Naismith
Eto'o Lukaku

Barkley in for Eto'o when he's back and Naisy up front.

This wouldn't work when Kev's fit but think it's our best formation at the moment.

For me, Besic is in the starting XI every week. Love him more and more, the more I see of him.

I think that'll be the case. In Martinez's first pre-season here, Gibson looked like he took to the new style more than anyone.

It's been confirmed, Sunjic and Hadzic are CB's. So Besic will play his usual position (DM).

Sunjic is our most junior CB (although he was decent at the WC) and Hadzic is a makeshift CB (normally a midfielder) who's not even a regular starter for the team. It's going to be tough.

This means Besic could shine, he'll probably be tasked with keeping an eye on Bale when Wales has possession.

Susic is not a clever man, is he? Plays with two strikers yet no attacks at all but defending...

"Despite the raucous atmosphere and chances at both ends, it remains goalless at the Cardiff City Stadium.
"Gareth Bale has not been as influential as usual, primarily because he has been stalked by Everton's Muhamed Besic in midfield.

I'm watching the game.. Mume has done well so far. Definitely keeping Bale under wraps. Putting together quite a resume is Besic. First Messi, now Bale!
