Would be interested to see them two together but think they may be too similar - unless one of them can improve further up the pitch (yet to make full judgement on this for Besic of course). Barry also gives us that much needed experience and is very intelligent. Do wish he had a bit more pace though.
Rivalling his contempt for Balotelli's diving. Love him, ultimate no-bullshit player.
Could work without a total split of duties maybe. They might end up having the energy/workrate/versatility to have either one sit deeper/drive forward depending on where the play is.
Edit: actually, I wouldn't be surprised if Besic was moulded into the one who got forward a bit more. Allows him to use his tricky feet without it being so risky and near to our box. He's definitely turned down the showboating a bit the last few matches, it'd be great once he's settled if he could get into positions to get some flair on again.

Very happy for him. He played 2 very important games and I feel like he did well. I am sure that once he really settles in, he will be even better. And it doesn't look like its gonna take him too long to settle in. Definitely a fighter and I can already see that he has improved since coming to Everton. He controls his tackles more now and he doesn't play around with the ball too much which is a good thing.

I´d like to see him further up the pitch once he settles. I think with his ability to beat his man and his clever touches he could cause some damage.

100%. Id be tempted to start him and McCarthy and leave Barry out of this one. Villa have got a very fast midfield and will look to counter, dont think Barry could cover enough ground to protect.
Great point that, their weakness is the full backs in my opinion so it's a massive shame Mirallas is out. How would you line up?
