Muhamed Besic

I thought Besic did particularly well tonight. As soon as Wales had the ball he closed Bale down, it was a tactic that worked well for most part of the game. Bale only came into his own when Coleman decided to substitute Church and put Bale as lone striker occupying the centre halves a lot more. Besic did get slipped one or twice my Williams but kept is discipline well I thought to avoid diving in and risk booking.

I would really like to see more of Besic playing for us, he is technically sound and if tonight is anything to go by he kept his concentration and focus well against one of the best players in the world.

FIFA 15: Gareth Bale, 93 Acceleration, 95 Sprint. Muhamed Besic, 68 Acceleration, 69 Sprint.

He had the highest sprint speed in the whole World Cup, IIRC. What crap.

He had maybe 1 wrong tackle during the match against Bale, apologized for that at the first moment. And that cat fight over him when he was at ground and the ref had to give away 3 yellows? That was really amusing :) He just laid there, not saying a wrong word to his opponent and when the overheated situation ended stood up and continued playing. Good play from him, a few passed away balls but it's understandable when You have to pay full attention for the world's best player.

This season will peel of the rawness and i expect him to be important part of out best XI next season

I think he is going to play an important role for us this season either for Barry or McCarthy. We were lucky last year to get so much game time out of those too and it is clear already this season that Lady Luck is paying us back a bit. I think plan A was to bring him in gradually because he is a bit raw but plan B is coming our way sometime soon!!

He wants to get on the ball and make stuff happen both with tackles in defense and creativity going forward.

Recently at Everton though a midfielder with grit and aggression who puts his foot in and wants to get forward and hurt the opposition is seen as raw and not yet the finished article. Give it a few months and im sure he'll be passing sideways and backwards, and doing nothing except dangling legs out and tripping opponents in dangerous areas. Seems to be the remit for any first choice midfielder this season.

Come on Saint Domingo he looks like he is his own man I think he will be urging other players to get on with their
game and get forward , he will be a captain like Peter Reid was by example. He is going to be some player, we will be
hard pressed to keep him this time next year.

Didn't realise he was that quick! So that's Messi and Bale he has had in his arse pocket now, 200m worth of talent in his arse pocket... And he's ours... Mo, your misdemeanour against Chelsea is forgiven now lid... ;)
