Nice to have players on board but the reality is barring 1 and probably 2 major injuries to Barry McCarthy or Gibson his only action is gonna be Europa.

Remember last year when Gibbo was injured and we were forced to play Osman in a deeper role a few times. Now we won't have to do that... Barry will have tired legs at times. Injuries will happen. It's inevitible. This year more than most, we'll need depth. Very good signing in my opinion.

If we can just get Lukaku over the line by the start of the season then it'll have been one of our best windows (already). Add in a loan creative winger and a loan striker and we'd be set - without losing any first-teamers

...agree, you shouldn't settle for what you have. Barry and McCarthy are established and were outstanding last season, but this boy could put pressure on for his place. That's the scenario RM will be hoping for.

Happy to admit I had never heard of this lad, but everything I read about him makes me pretty excited about his long term prospects in L4.

Can play, seems hungry, tough, bit of an edge to him. Sort of player you would hate if he played for someone else.

Havnt had that for a while.
