Moyes Watch @ Real Sociedad

Christ i just checked and you're right, they were struggling a bit when Moyes took over but i thought they had been rubbish for a while.

I was wrong, they were in Europe the previous 2 seasons.

They seem a bit of an all over the place club, sometimes winning la liga, sometimes top 4, sometimes lower half and sometimes relegated.

Since they came back to la liga they have finished 15, 12, 4, 7, 12.

So koff moist, yeah considering they finished 12th last year yet forgetting the were CL 2 years ago.

To be fair, they are a selling club, probably explains their erratic form over the years. They had sold Griezmann and Illaramendi the year before Moyes arrived.

Not sure what transfer business they have done this year? Would be surprised if they hold on to the likes of Vela and Inigo Martinez etc

Sociedad have a pretty damn impressive midfield this season with Pardo, Canales, Illaramendi & Prieto behind Vela and Jonathas. If they can sign another centre-half as back-up to Martinez & Reyes (who I massively rate) I think they'll do just fine this season pushing for a Europe League spot. Well, if they stop playing such boring, pragmatic football anyway...

Oh and their keeper ain't half bad too.

I said further up the page that they are a selling club, maybe they are a buying-back club now. He'll be in for Xabi Alonso next

If he was here he'd of driven our best players to United and Chelsea himself.

Plucky little Everton

@davek

Plucky little Sociedad

Seriously, why don't you just send Davek pms if you want to have an anaemic and pointless conversation with him instead of cluttering up the forum with drivel like this ? Give it rest ffs.

Oh and it's 'he would have' not 'he'd of'.

@davek agreed though mate. Moyes would have sent John Stones to Chelsea with his agricultural football
