Moyes To Man Utd

United and Celtic are the only clubs i could see Moyes leaving us to.

This rumour however was started over 4 months ago from some random guy on bluekipper. Then its been posted on different sites, by different people and people start to believe it. Its been on Football-rumours many of times - probably where your "source" got it from.

Whos to say he wont get offered the job anyway? Hes 1 of the most respected Managers in the game and im sure Fergie would give him a good reference.
There would be no guarantees. If he agreed to join as #2 he could get them.

Also knowing Fergie he could die @ Old Trafford, ie he could still be coaching into his 80s, why on earth would Moyes take the chance that Fergie keeps saying 1 more year, 1 more year till 2020. As long as he was still winning stuff the owners wouldnt want rid.
Of course Moyes would want assurances that SAF quits soon. Don't be silly.

Your not a utd fans by any chance are you mate?

How can you call managing a club then going to assistant manager a step up?
Of course you can, it depends on the size difference between the clubs. If Everton hired some lower league manager as #2, it would be a step-up to him.

Whether this is the case here is debatable, some might see it as a step-up, since ManU is one of three biggest clubs in the world. You can't go to a bigger club than that.

Think this is most likely bull [Poor language removed] but if you look at Carlos Quieroz he was more like a head coach at united that an assisstant manager, in fact he was tipped to take the job after saf until he moved on. He was regarded very highly and if saf has decided it is actually time to pack in (doubtful) he might be offered that role with a view to taking over. If he was offered a number 2 job anywhere else id see it as a step down but head coach with a view to full manager at united is pretty hard to turn down when u think of everything you can win there. As for rooney well as manager he would be sold pretty soon i reckon!

Id feel a bit betrayed if moyes went but if his options are stay and have endless arguments with the board etc trying to scrap together enough money for transfers when all around are spending like crazy, or move to united where they can afford to reject £60mil transfers for one player and have most players turn up at the drop of a hat i know as an unbiased manager which camp id want to be in.

This has been rumoured for ages but look at realistically there would be no guarentees of getting the top job when Fergie goes so he could spend a couple of years wasted as number two,as they will want a high profile manager and Dave as good as he is not that and would not be the fans choice as as hard as it sounds he has won nothing .they wont care hes been good on a shoe string budget(y)

this thread is so...........

It'll be the Glazers who decide who takes over from sraliks. I can't see them giving the job to an unknown (to them) number two. Especially one with so little nous in the transfer market.
Moyes' skill is getting players who haven't fulfilled their potential to step up a level, not buying overrated primadonnas and puncturing their egos.
If he couldn't keep Rooney in line when he was a promising 16 year old with it all to play for, he's got no chance when he's past 20, won everything and really couldn't give a [Poor language removed].

Which is not to say that he wouldn't take it if offered. Just, he'd be a fool if he did.

gotta say though, how longs he gonna put up with it here, only so many times you can make a silk purse from a pigs ear.

[Poor language removed],[Poor language removed] and more [Poor language removed].

although if he ever will move to manure,i think we need an investor before this is happens,so we can bring in someone decent - moyes-types come VERY rarely.

Moyes is a hands on person, i wouldnt think he would be happy to stick his hands in his pocket for 2 years and wait around for Fergie.

Spot on mate

Fergie will retire when he is 108
