I think the same, but he was having a conversation on the phone to a supplier who apparently works for everton, dunno who he is so dont know the true nature of it all..

just not good news to hear or to be spread around

and to be honest, i can see it happening one day which is why its scary
Hold on wait a minute!!! A supplier? So we can't get a peep out of Everton for love nor money on transfers and a bloody supplier gets to hear that moyes is being head hunted?

Sorry mate, I prefered the (not by you) play flying in with players because someone has got their rooms ready. More credible.

Besides, Moyes is a king in Blue heaven (to parady a quote) rather being a road sweeper in blue hell. Even if at the moment the red devils play the better tunes (to completely mix metaohors).

This may well be BS but its been evident for some time that Moyes is far from happy right now and the hanging contract speaks volumes.

Watching him on those post match interviews after the Blackburn game he seemed .. brittle, barely there, edgy.. he looks like a man looking for the way out. Perhaps it was contained Scot fury .. Hope so.

there are so many reasons why this is complete rubbish, such as the lack of any indication there of in the press, the fact that moyes is coming off his 2 best seasons here, he's reassured us repeatedly that he won't leave, wayne rooney is there and i'm sure he's had just about enough of him. also, i'm not too sure how a change in managers works, but moyes only has a little time left on his contract, so even if he wanted to leave he'd still see his contract out just because its impractical to buy out of it (if that is how it works for manager contracts), and manchester need a new assistant manager as soon as possible, they wouldn't wait for moyes to finish up.

can a moderator please lock this thread so people don't keep seeing it, and seeing all the pages in the thread and believing there might be some truth to it.

p.s. as a side comment, while most of the posters here believed this is pure bollocks just like i do, it is interesting that we all felt the need to post it, thus driving up the amount of pages in the thread. I think as blues, we're all a little scared here, and i guess this thread might have helped us reassure eachother at the least.

I can see Moyes leaving Everton at some point but I don't think he'd go to United to be an assistant. He'd be lowering himself IMO.

I can see him being manager of United or possibly in Scotland with either Rangers or Celtic, maybe even the manager of the Scottish national side, who knows?

I think moyesie is going to sign when (or is that if?) we land the big signing, which it appears he hopes will be moutinho. I believe that has always been his intention. I'm sure he wasn't intending for it to take this long. I don't see his interviews in the same negative way as others have been suggesting either. He looks a bit crest fallen, embaressed maybe but not someone looking for the exit IMO.

I would say that the biggest job out of those is the Man Utd assistant role.

Just look at the people who manage the others. They're hardly high profile managers, more like failures from the premier league.

Neville do you want him to step down in two years?

No Way mate

Any United fan whothinks he should step down is an idiot

How old is he 64 I think its no age nowadays

The dream of overtaking your lovely neighbours will be too much for him to resist

This is the man who was once asked what his biggest achievement had been at United.

Was it ending the club's 26-year wait for the championship?

Maybe the first Premiership and FA Cup Double of 1994?

Surely it was the Treble topped off by that epic Champions League Final victory in Barcelona in 1999?
No chance. "My biggest challenge was knocking Liverpool off their f***ing perch," was Ferguson's reply.

irreplacable and a Legend

I think when Fergie leaves it will be a hard job to fill like when Busby went,I dont doubt Dave would have the strength required to take the pressure, but surely United will want guy with more euro experiance(y)

Hard to say coyney I honestly think fergie will have the final say

Moysey will definitely be in the frame in my opinion

Nobody will be able to fill SAF's shoes at united he is a legend.
Moyes couldnt manage united he simply is nowear near good enough and never will be.
