perhaps investment is on the way and that made moyes sign.. not because he will get money to spend on players but a new rich owner might want a 'big' name manager and moyes' huge contract would be forgotten about.

he is a great manager but lets not forget it is a huge financial deal for him. does anyone deserve 17 million over 5 years? i guess in the world of football and what moyes has achieved he does.

just a pity it could not have been signed before august as i can't help thinking we might be doing a touch better.
