im confused here, your having a pop at moyes cause he is not playing barclay then say you would not play Barclay. Erm ok.
Think you're confused. Said Barkley should be ahead of Heitinga and hitzlsperger for midfield start. Both played before him. Which just shows how far down the pecking order he is.

You have to ask if Barkley doesn't get a sniff in these circumstances with the injuries, Felii out and Jonny the centre back coming on what's the point in having him here?

Anyone rang City yet?

People cant see the argument. Injuries and suspensions and still not a sniff

Lads. We won. We did the usual concede a goal and make what should have been a comfortable win an absolute **** your pants fest for the last 10 minutes, but it wouldn't be Everton if we didn't would it?

And wigan really arnt as bad a side as people make out. Its just unfortunate for them that they have as much cutting edge as a jellyfish or something else dead soft. But not a bad side at all.

3 Points against Wigan mate thats all that matters.

The opportunity to build the confidence of a young footballer that may or may not bring us on against better sides, win cups, turn draws into victories means fck all - if Davey says it, then it must be so - despite winning **** all and the signs of yet another centre forward withering on the vine begin to show.

He knows it all.

In what universe is Gibson a defensive player? He probably plays the highest number of (completed) forward passes in our team. To say that he's defensive just because he doesn't get in the box like Cahill did, is just silly.
It's also not accurate to say that Baines (and Coleman when playing) are defensive players, they aren't. Full back in modern football is as much a midfield position as it is defensive.

I have the feeling that if Barclay played and had two poor games he would be treated the same way as Vic has been treated by the more vocal sections of our fan base.
Maybe Moyes has taken this into account.

I like Moyes and dont think theres a better managers to keep the club "stable" however its this caution that keeps us from winning cups.

He just doesnt believe in out and attacking football. He always throws caution to the wind.

Why Barkley doesnt deserve at least a 20 minute cameo I dont know!

Gibsons a sitter mate. Attacking midfielders are the likes of Nasri, fabregas etc. he is absolutely nothing like them
