its quite obvious that moyes and taggart are mates and will stick up for each other but if moyes thinks man u are great and do everything by the book then he needs to goto specsavers.
after moyes rant today and if lescott signs for us then how daft is he going to look ?
it seems that moyes aint spoken to the chairman and he needs to to resolve this or even your chairman coming out and saying he aint spoken or is in discussions with city and that will make hughes look a cnut.
come on mr chairman come out and deny city are in talks with you and put this to bed please.

Our shareholders know what happens if Lescott is sold without Moyes say so. So dont worry yourself.
Moyes has told you, its up to him, speak to him if you wanna deal, nobody else.
and thats how it should be with the manager saying who stays and goes mate.
but with the new culture of owners it doesnt work like that and they go and get what they want and i cant blame eveton for saying get stuffed because ive said it before i wish we had the balls to do it when we sold SWP to chelsea even though we needed the cash.
ok then lads....
what if your shareholders are not happy about this one time offer of say £25m being knocked back ?
i just dont like the way this has got really messy and i dont blame moyes by the way i blame most of it on city but i also believe they are being encouraged by someone at everton and not just lescott or his bad advisors either.
you might see next week it all calm down because im sure city will have a plan c.d,e and wont drag there heals too much if they get a firm NO from someone at everton because theres not much time left till the window closes.
Moyes explained that he was the sole decision maker at Everton when it comes to player movement, and that there was no chance of him allowing the defender to leave, with City having already had two bids rejected this summer.
The Blues boss was responding to Mark Hughes' recent comments that City were still trying to 'speak to the people who will ultimately make the decision over whether the deal continues'.
Moyes said at his Friday press conference: "There's no dialogue between anyone at Everton and Manchester City, unless Manchester City are talking to someone who they shouldn't be.
"It is certainly not me. They said they are trying to talk to the people who make the decisions at Everton, well at this football Club I make the decisions. I have control of the football club so they know who to phone and I've not had a call, so they must be talking to the wrong people."
The Goodison chief was asked by journalists if he was disappointed with the way City's interest has unfolded.
"Definitely," he replied. "We wouldn't do our business in public, we would go to the right people. We have said all along we don't want to sell Joleon Lescott.
"The offer was never big enough - we rate Joleon that highly, we think the world of him as a centre half and as a left back. He gives us two players in one. They paid £12m for Gareth Barry with one year left on his contract but Joleon has considerably more than that left.
"We have had four weeks of ongoing dialogue and it's been through the media, it's not been directed through me and I make the decisions here. There's not been one call through me and I think the way the business has been handled has been disgusting. All it's done is disrupt our football club and make it very difficult for us."
Moyes also admitted that the situation has taken its toll on Lescott himself, who handed in a transfer request earlier this week.
"He has been distracted, obviously," continued Moyes. "The boy's in a little bit of turmoil with the way that things of gone, but he's been consistently told by the manager that we won't be selling him.
"So he should get his head around it and get on with his job. Maybe other people are telling him different. The fans gave him great support (against Malaga) and that's what we want. They saw that the decision we were making was right, and hopefully they still see that."
Having addressed the Lescott issue, Moyes then moved on to talk about adding players to his squad. He revealed that he hopes to add new faces sooner rather than later.
"We have got 13 or 14 players which I am happy with and we have some up-and-coming youngsters as well which gives us great hope," he said. "I hope maybe within the next 48 hours or so we will have a couple of new players added to the squad. If we do that then we will start to rebuild from the players we lost last season."
Pretty clear that, guess you should start looking at these b,c,d options, unless you want to pay £30m.

at the end of the dau SWP and lescott wanted out for the same reason which is money and thats the way its going now like it or not which i dont and if moyes/your chairman say no and lescott stays then lescott hasnt got an option but to play well otherwise he wont be in the world cup squad and if everton finish top4 then im sure he wont feel good with himself for wanting to move to city because im also sure he will be rewarded with a new contract.
The only person that has to say no is lescott himself, which because he handed a transfer request in gives citeh all they need to pursue him no matter what the club says. That's what happened with terry wasn't it? Made 2 bids and still pursude him till he said I'm not going.
The club can't stop citeh pursuing a player who's said he'd like to move. All they can do is say no till citeh stop.
But like I say, I wouldn't be surprised if he went if citeh threw 25to30mill at us. Which we all know they won't cos if they did the end of football just took a further step closer.
