Moyes agrees "hands off deals" with Fellaini and Baines

If there had been a release required for Manchester United to hire Moyes, there could have been a variation of a non-compete clause which would prevent Moyes from initiating transfer negotiations with Everton players, at the risk of damages, for X number of seasons.

But Moyes is out of contract at the end of the year so BK would have had no contractual leverage.

Moyes will just buy Rabiot and nickname him Fellaini.

If Fellani wants to go, which seems to be the case, why rule a potential rich bidder out?

The more clubs involved in the chase for his signature the better surely.

Rodgers said he wouldn't take Swansea players but Allen I think had a release clause and another club bid for him. I think that would be fair enough, if we accepted a bid from Chelsea for Fellaini we should allow Man Utd to bid as well. If we're selling a player we want the most money, who cares where they end up, bar the rs obviously.

I can't speak for anybody else, but at least for me, I'm more worried about Baines.

Fellaini's value is high and even after bringing in a decent replacement, the remaining money could go a long way to strengthening the squad.

It makes no difference to me whether he goes to Man U or Chelsea or PSG or Anzi. So long as there is a bidding war, I'm a kitten napping in sunshine.

However, Baines' value is low when you consider he is arguably the best LB in the league. He also makes Pienaar a better player. I'd be pretty crushed if he left.

I really have a feeling Baines will retire here.

His mates are at Everton - and he doesn't seem like the guy to just up and kick on.

I don't think Moyes would take Baines with any malice, but the fact is that United could use him and Baines will probably be tempted to go as he knows Moyes rates him and will likely pay him a lot

I just hope that if Moyes does sign Baines, he has a word with the Glazers and we get a good deal for him

He lies there, desolate. With a plastic frog 'on swap' and no manager. And just the faint hope that Moyes liked his dance enough to not rob his players.

The days of the boys' pen are but a distant memory.

Yeah he's Chelsea bound I reckon. But we've known this for a long time. Holding onto Baines is more important IMO.
