Moyes agrees "hands off deals" with Fellaini and Baines

At the risk of verbal thrashing I am tending to agree to the sale of Fellani but the forum is all about opinions right? Yes he's a great talisman and a threat to defences (mostly for hospitalisation reasons at the mo). Here is my question: Would you class him in the same legendary status as big Dunc?/Latchford?/Sharpy? or any of the 84/5 squad..?) and what we desperately need is a proven 20+ goal a season scorer (like rocking horse **** I know).

I cant get to any games as I live a little further away than Kirkby and I only see the blues on Star Sports in Asia, with that pathetic kopite McMahon, so I am genuinely asking, is he really worth keeping, or is he our money to buy a proven net buster? Jelavic has fell for 2nd season syndrome and if he doesnt get a grip hell be playing for Wolves soon. Views...either way welcome.

in the same part of the World mate and similar sentiments re: Macmahon and the tossers that do the football shows over here. FYI there's another kopite, Des Corkhill (sad innit ?) who is high up in the food chain when it comes to what's shown on the telly, who talks about it etc. do if you've not been here that long be prepared for an endless procession of ex RS spouting the predictable ****e.

As for Felli I'd put him up there with the best who've worn the shirt in the past 25 years. He has not been complimented by the best supporting staff (midfield and attack) but I feel he likes the 'main man' tag and rises to it despite where we play him.

As for 'hospitalization' comments and the like that's exactly the sort of ****e MacMahon & Co would spout.

Felli can be replaced but I'd love to see him stay with the likes of Fer and a decent striker brought in.

If we get a fair price for Fellani I'd have no problem selling him to Utd. I'd rather see him there than Chelsea or City.

I would be suprised if United paid a "fair price." I expect they will pay less money than Chelsea or City.
Fellaini is a big asset. Chelsea were strongly linked. City paid a fortune for Lescott.
United have a big debt and their owners are tighter with the "purse strings."

I'd love to keep Fellaini....How sad is it that when the other 6 teams we are challanging with (utd, city,Chelsea, arse, spurs,L'pool) are looking to keep all there star players and add to there squad's with more quality, that we are desperate for Fellaini to go in the hope it would provide funds to not only replace him but add the players we feel we're missing. It's awfull that's where we are as a club now and depressingly not in the same league as those mentioned above. Infact we operate on the levels of west broms, ham's, sunderlands ect....

As said I'd love to keep him, play him CM and add the 3/4 players we need. Unfortunately that's not going to happen and Fellaini will leave as a fan favourite and not get the chance to become a legend. I think the whole release fee is paper talk. The club and Fellaini himself has said no such clause exists. No doubt I imagine there is a clause for him to leave to a CL club but I don't think there is any set price attached.

As for moyes taking him utd....Well so be it, if he's going to go, like others have said I'd rather him go utd than city or Chelsea. As for the fee... For me he's got to be worth up to 30M IMO. Well that's what we should be pushing for. Unfortunately moyes will now exactly what were willing to sell him for. But like others have said I'd prefere moyes to take Fellaini than baines or Barkley.

What will be will be with Fellaini. Tbh we kind of dont lose out either way but its a shame to see him go if he does and a shame to see us spend No money to push on if he stays.

The biggest disappointment for me is that we didn't get to see him playing regularly in his real position. He and Gibson are great together when given a chance.

How long does he have left on his contract? If it's less than three years he'll have to go this summer simply because the club won't be able to give him another wage rise.

you just know he will offer us zaha on loan in exchange for baines

He can Koff then.

Baines is not only our one true world class player but he sets up all our attacking play and is brilliant at dead balls. Plus when I met him once he came across as a really decent lad. Any of the others are for sale but if Moyes takes Baines I'll shout and scream

MOYES TO MOVE SHAW IN

DAVID MOYES will turn to teenage sensation Luke Shaw if he fails to lure Leighton Baines to Old Trafford.

The new Manchester United boss has made Baines one of his top targets this summer.

Moyes wants the England left-back to become the long-term replacement for Patrice Evra, who is considering a return to France with either Monaco or Paris St-Germain. However, Everton chairman Bill Kenwright has made it clear to his former boss that Baines is not for sale.

Kenwright is determined to keep Baines, even if United make a £20m bid.

It means Moyes will turn his attention to rising Southampton star Shaw.

The England Under-21 defender is regarded as one of the hottest young talents in Europe. Chelsea are also keen on the £10m-rated star but United are confi dent of luring him to Old Trafford.

United bosses are determined not to miss out on Shaw, having seen Gareth Bale snub them in favour of joining Tottenham from Saints several seasons ago.

United legend and club ambassador Denis Irwin is convinced the champions will sign Shaw.

He said: “I’ve heard a word that the new manager might have Luke Shaw at the top of his list.

“The teenage Southampton full-back is the latest in a long line of prodigies from that club’s excellent youth system.”
