He's a clever lad. He'd fit quite quickly.

Nice to hear, he'll be ours soon.:P

I think if he was to join our formation would help him. He'd be protected by Cahill and a defensive midfielder if anyone tries to bully him out the game and he'd linke well with Arteta and Pienaar.

There's alot of interchanging in a 4-5-1 aswell so he'll be able to move around the pitch and use his intelligence.

He won't play second half.

If Moyes shows the money it may happen. But until now it hasn't happened.

My first post

BUt this is translated, sounds like he wants to join us

COYB !!!!

Amazingly the reaction of John Moutinho at the end of the game with Blackburn. The captain of Sporting drew the journalists. The speech, that he was prepared. 'Do you want us to talk? "Asked. Having realized that the intention of moving average was a concrete message: either leave Alvalade!

"[The Everton] It is the club of which you speak, but the Sporting did not accept the proposal. The Sporting know my will and have to pass. My desire, for the reasons that I have, it can leave, 'said peremptorily.

The Sporting does not want to give the medium, but Joao Moutinho is determined to leave. "I hope there is agreement and where there could be a good solution for both parties", he said.

Joao Moutinho spoke of the meeting with Pinto da Costa, occurred prior to submitting the Sporting to start pre-season. 'I was spending the last week-end holidays of the Port with my friends and my wife. Then I was to find me with my employer and by chance found the Pinto da Costa ", merely to say.

He mentioned Everton.

MOYES MAKES HIS MOU-VE
By CHRIS BASCOMBE

EVERTON manager David Moyes plans to make a club-record £18million bid for Sporting Lisbon’s Joao Moutinho.

The Toffees boss wants to appease the Goodison faithful, who had been expecting summer signings to strengthen the squad.

Sealing the 21-year-old Portugal midfielder’s signature will go a long way towards doing that.

The £11m departure of Andy Johnson will help finance the move, with Fulham now ahead of Wigan in the race for the striker’s signature.

18 million would be a steal, especially when the Redshite are buying players like Barry and Keane for 18 and 20 million. Moutinho has alot of talent, he'd fit into our work ethic and would develop nicely here.

If we sell AJ for 11 million and buy Joao for 18 we've only really spend 7 million. Please please don't [Poor language removed] this up Everton.

the traitor stuff has already started on youtube ...guess he struck a nerve...

"25 million euros on the table...then we can start talking.
Oh and...i almost forgot... [Poor language removed] YOU Moutinho !!!"
