Disagree mate. I think they will walk the league to be honest. Not just because of Mourinho, but they have an outstanding midfield and signing Eto will make the difference. I think City will probably finish second, Spurs third and then Arsenal. I don't see Utd in the top4 with their poor squad right now

I didn't think we got battered at all! They had more chances but we defended BETTER THAN THEM.
Both teams played some lovely stuff. We worked a goal, could have had more. They couldn't score past us.
It was a good game which we won... End of.

No mate, if I look at the game from a non blue tinted perspective, i have to say we rode our luck in that match we should have been 3- or 4 down before we scored.

We got the rub of the green though and that's part of the game but we were far from convincing and for good periods in the middle of the game we were dominated thoroughly.

Aye lad come one..... Baines hit the bar, Jelly had 2 free headers one which he hit direct to the keeper and one where he could of squared it to Mirallas BOTH outstanding chances count that as 4 then?

The 'rode your luck' stuff applies to the 1st half but not the 2nd half.

2nd half we played really well and it was at least equal.

Rather be dismissed/criticised than patronised.

The squad is poor tho mate, its been poor for a few years now, they generally have 1 player of real quality who makes up for it and never underestimate the Fergie factor, hes a winner.

Take out RVP and Rooney and its got any real quality left.

De Gea is hit and miss, but more hit these days, Vidic on his day is superb, but hes aging and quite injury prone and then theres utter tosh like Nani and Young.

it is all about van persie and rooney for me, felli will be good alongside carrick, but the rest is just nowhere near the standard of chelsea and city. Arsenal and spurs' midfield pisses all over theirs as well. i really want to see van persie injured for the season, just to see exactly where they finish.

Jose is a one trick defensive pony who had a love in with the media first time round, winding up the Kopites and the Mancs was quality but he's made a mistake going back to Chels.

They need a rebuild having the fading Terry, Lampard, Cole and the basket-case Torres hanging round plus it was just him and SAF with money last time.

He looks and sounds aged now struggling to convince in his interview and quite frankly when we did break at them we over-ran their sorry arses, the goal itself had half our team in their box!

Just too dynamic for them where it mattered and that will have pissed him right off.

Anyone else think Jose getting a little carried away with the "How didn't we win that game" comments ??

Granted they had some good chances, and overall had the lion share of possession but baring the 10 mins after H/T when to be fair they were all over us like a cheap suit, I thought we were always in the game, always a threat on the counter, it certainly wasn't a back to the walls heavy pressure. In fact although a little worried due to there quality I didn't apart from that 10min spell feel masively worried.

Jelavic and Naismith had excellent chances themselves first half. Barkley was brought down twice in a very dangerous possistion, mirallas was clear through if side show bob hadn't pulled him down! Baines hit the bar, and osman had a typically poor shot at the end.

Ok, on another day with there chances they could of won, on another day we could have beat them by a couple more! Reign it in Jose, this was no travisity of justice or anything....

Her has a point to be fair. They screwed up and gave us the ball about 15 yards from their box. It was us from then though.
