Jose Mourinho is a top class world renowned and highly respected manager whose players love him -- especially the Chelsea players.

We have had 3 draws and a great win against Chelsea...4 league games so far. Lets see how we get on with the next few matches before getting carried away. Weve had some good results against top sides and dropped points against lower level sides...need to show consistency.

Whichever way you look at it Everton with their knives somehow managed to do what ManUnited with their machine guns could not do - that is scalp Chelsea at home

I thought we contained Chelsea quite well.Their most clear cut chance came from a moment of madness by Howard, but apart from that they had chances which were scorable...but difficult.
We had the same... chances that were scorable but difficult. They had more than we had , but it wasn't exactly hanging on by our fingertips.
Remember we hit the bar and if Mirallas hadn't been dragged back on the half way line we might have had a second as well as a couple of chances for Jelavic.

Its Mourhinio. What did you expect? "Oh yes Everton out battled us and we could have easily finished the game with 8 men as Luiz, Mikel and Hazard could of all been sent off"

I think Jose is an exceptional manager, but this time around he doesn't have the Ivorian Coast goal machine Drogba to win him games singlehandedly, and it would not be realistic to expect the same contribution from Lampard. Whithout those two, who's going to score the goals for Chelsea? Not convined by Eto'o, his best days are far behind him.

Chelsea were lucky as hell to beat Villa. So far Jose's return seems more like his last season with club than his first two.

I have to agree with those who say never go back. It's almost impossible to recreate the same magic you had first time around.

How many real chances did they have? The open goal that Barry blocked, Howard's save from Ramires and the one that Schurlle put over the top are the main ones that spring to mind. We defended well and reduced them to a lot of long range efforts.

We were unlucky not to get a penalty for the foul on Coleman, Luiz could have potentially been sent off for hauling back Mirallas and Baines' freekick could have gone in on another day.

Chelsea have hardly been convincing so far this season. They were fortunate to beat Villa and couldn't score against United. Maybe Mourinho is feeling the pressure?
