osman and pienaar made things happen, also cahill and neville played well. jo looks like he has something to offer up front. and the defence apart from a couple of scary moments did well to.

Osman for me.

He'd be decent at International level, he's a fantastic player when he's got time and space. Technically up there with the top English players, Just a shame he lacks pace and strength big time.

He's been nowhere consistent enough though and England will always go for pace and power over ability.

Interesting Moyes saying he's missed alot of training this season, probably the main reason for his lack of form.

I'd give it to Osman, his best performance for a long time showing us just what we miss when he is stuck out on the wing.

Followed very closely by Fellaini who had a hand in all 4 goals.

Surprised so many people voted Osman. He looked good, but he was very selfish on the ball, missed some basic attacking passes, and was absolutely knackered in the last 30 minutes. He played well but not MoM.

Fellaini/Jo and probably Osman the only candidates. Mentions to Neville

Moyes said in the post match imterview that Ossie has managed to string together 2 weeks of training for the first time all season. That explains the lack of energy, match sharpness, and he has always tried to keep hold of the ball. Pulls defenders all over the place, and makes space for goals.

I do not think he was being selfish, just a very good midfielder.

I think it's more down to trying to be creative more than anything, creative players will usually loose the ball because they try difficult passes, touches and tricks etc. They are trying to make things happen. Pienaar is the same.

You need players like that to be honest. If you didn't we'd have 11 players passing sideways and backwards.

Easily the Big Man Fellaini for me. By far his best game in a blue shirt, making an excellent all round contribution and scored a good goal

Osman by some margin. Give him due, after much ****ging off from Danny, he was brilliant today. Everything went through him and his goal rounded it off.

I thought Fellaini played alright but nowhere near man of the match. Jo played really well and put himself about a load more, even winning some headers.

See, whenever I vote I do so before looking at the thread.

Now today, I thought Ossie was MotM. However, I presumed that the Fellaini crowd would back him massively cos he also had a great game, so I hedged my bets by voting for JO (figuring he'd be the second highest votes, to make sure Fellaini wouldn't win)

Then I see Ossie is miles ahead anyway.

Won't doubt your judgement again boys

Hibbert all day for me. Returned to the squad, no one got behind him and he set up two of our four goals. Well deserved man of the match.

Ossie for me by a country mile.

Ran at what existed for a Wigan midfield. Pass the ball for the most part creatively. Was on hand for at least two of the goals, grabbed one for himself. If only he was this consistent week in, week out, then more people would see how vital he is to the side.

Two goal Jo. Does he strike you more of a poacher type striker, or am i trying to be too cerebial?

Well said.

Osman for me as well.

Just got in after a long drive and then watched the game.

Osman was great with lots of love for Fellaini. (y)

I just adored the game today and how are we are doing this without Arteta.
