I must say I have started listening to Jim a bit because much to my surprise, I quite enjoy his programme and he always has a kind word for EFC.

He had Arry Redknapp on yesterday and Arry was saying about how players in his day used to take the bus to the training ground....and went in to tell a story about Tommy Lawton signing for EFC for a record fee at the time and having to take two buses to get to Goodison for his first match.

And there was standing room only on those buses lol

I never knew owt about him before, other than he introduced Sky's Deadline Day programme.

But he certainly comes across on his radio programmes as being very Everton minded

I think any press that White gives us is usually positive. Always seems to be bigging us up as well, for that reason alone he’s alright in my book.

I think Moshiri has been very clever. Jim White is one of the big names in SKY and the football world starts and finishes with SKY at the moment.
Jim White is chuffed to have the ear and probably the phone number for Moshiri and is using this new found relationship to underline his own status as the man with the contacts.

It gets Everton mentioned more often and raises the profile. Small steps, but important nonetheless.
I think it probably does mean however that on transfer deadline day we need to accept that Jim White is in fact itk.
