Grand. So he made £19.67 million on the first lot and he's waiting for the real big pay out once Farad builds the stadium on the rest? Or is there an agreement in place to sell the other 12.6% at £5000 a pop?

No-one knows the terms of the options agreement - information is private and not in the public domain.

The lying king. The Bill Kenwright story.

@The Esk is quoting the TBH figure I think. The average cost of BK 1878 Ltds shares were 1025 from memory. So the base cost is a mixture of (X × 1025) + (Y x Z)
X being the number sold by 1878ltd, Y being the number sold personally and Z being the cost of the shares held personally.
Won't have any sort of accurate idea of the cost until options are exercised - BK may still hold shares at that point either personally or through 1878 Ltd.
Boring but correct.

* vows to get out more.

Moshiri has had to come out today on Talksport to clarify what Koeman said about Lukaku.

“It has been taken out of context,” Moshiri told talkSPORT host Jim White.

Ronald Koeman said he believes Romelu will develop into one of the best strikers in the world in the next two to three years and wouldn’t be out of place at his old club, Barcelona.

“It is just player-coach talk.”

The relationship between this club's majority shareholder and an idiot employed by Talk Sport is embarrassing and unbecoming. Texting his thoughts on club affairs is just not on. It's all very Sam Hammam.

This other thread was posted yesterday https://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/threads/atmosphere-around-the-club.92701/ and it's a fair point of view to hold. For me, there's no dignity in this outfit currently in command. It's not Everton to be acting this way, and they dont feel like Everton people. The manager and the owner are saying things that cant possibly be supported or excused.

Kenwright is chairman, but a busted flush in terms of leadership and credibility; Elstone is the CEO and doesn't even have Kenwright's moral clout. But we need someone to get a grip of the situation and advise these new men into the club about how we operate, because the historical style and tone of this club is under serious pressure from them both.

Bold bit nails it. Perfect comparison.

@hibbo'sclass so you're saying the profit on the first lot of shares he sold was closer to £19m?
No mate. I'm saying the base cost on the shares held personally is and always will be unknown. The average cost of shares sold by BK 1878 Ltd can be worked out using first in first out or average cost basis, but don't know the mix of personal/company shares sold, and will only be relatively calculable when options are exercised and it is known how many are still in BK's possession cos I think he'll get all sentimental and hold on to some.
In short, too many variables that I ain't looking into.

*this may change if I get really bored

@hibbo'sclass kkkkkkk, but he paid £891 each for the majority of shares he owned?
No mate. True Blue Holding price is the one mentioned by @The Esk but these were transferred to Bill Kenwright Blue Limited at cost (£891) plus cost of acquisition (liquidation, stamp duty, legal fees). These were then transferred to BK 1878 Ltd at the new higher cost = more legal expenses, stamp duty etc which from memory brought the cost at an average of £1025 (did have an exact figure, but can't be bothered vaulting myself - be here all week!!!).
The shares he holds personally, no-one knows the cost of, but it is likely to be less than the figure esk quoted.
Until the options are exercised in full and accounts for 31st of May following the exercise, the number of shares that BK still holds will be unknown, as will the source of the shares he sold.

I think that at least 80% of the shares he has sold have been via the Limited company as 85% ish of the shares he controlled were held in there.

So if you take a punt using the 80%, the cost of the shares sold by the company would be about 3830 x 1025 = £3,925,750.The cost of the shares sold personally would be 958 shares at whatever they cost.

So back to square one, the cost of the disposals is an unknown.

Apologies if this has been said. I haven't read all the thread but is anybody else extremely concerned that all of Moshiri's thoughts/statements are coming via Jim White and not through official club press releases. I think it is very unprofessional, a bit tacky, not how Everton conduct themselves and worries me greatly.

I felt this way when he initially got involved with Jim White. It really isn't the right way to communicate to club supporters as an Everton official.
