Maybe Snides said he was ok and it would take his mind off it which I can understand but when he came off he did not seem annoyed just uncomfortable.

Horrible situation to be in.

quite often when players are going through troubled times of whatever variety, sometimes the bet tonic is to play and the woes are forgotten for the short term during the game. Sadly it seems this wasn't the case here. His dad must've been really popular with the rest of the team as they looked to be grieving too.

To be honest he did a lot of tackles and closing down against west ham. Still not good enough tho.

I can understand why he keeps his place, not because of his quality, more of a necessity. 2 fullback constantly high up the pitch is a recipe for disaster without 2 midfielders protecting the gaps.

The main problem with Morgan is he isn't as good as he thinks he is and can't get around the pitch. He does one job well sit in and be the pivot and pass it sideways but he can't protect the back four we desperately need an upgrade. Was surprised we didn't in the summer unless Gomes will be tried there.
