He's out of contract in 2 years and refusing to sign a new one.
 

He's currently in Spain with the rest of the Wolves squad, so if anything is gonna get sorted then it's going to be a while yet.

No it’s because we needed the money and we had a rubbish manager who wanted a particular type of full back. Digne’s value had reached its ceiling.

I was seeking an answer as it seemed strange. It would be like us selling Gordon now when his value will probably increase next year and the year after. It would be strange for us to sell to Wolves who are in direct competition to us.

Ahhhh he’s nailed it. So there were specific circumstances that led to us selling Digne rather than just “well if he’s good we would’ve kept him rather than selling to a rival”.
