It is mildly frustrating people never giving these kids a chance to find their feet. We're a tough fan base for kids in my opinion.

Just don’t get it, why rush, we have a team of arguably or potentially world class attacking talent. No rush on Moise what so ever, he’s in the right spot, in the right team at the right time.

I often find the psychology behind some of the posts about our players interesting, it was the same with Lookman, homesick, lazy, doesn’t look happy, self fulfilling prophecy, some players we are quick to label.

If anything Moise needs to chill and is trying to hard. I’d be targeting his composure, the talent is there for all to see.

If I was Carlo I’d be saying, you are my go to man this season to impact games, coming on, run them ragged, enjoy and have some fun out there lad.

When he was coming on as a sub against Spurs he played on the left of the front 3. Salford he started as a CF. Against West Brom he played on the right hand side of the front 3. This coming Wed, against weaker opposition he will play as a CF again.

He’s learning.

That a very fair point mate, it’s often the case in development lads are asked to come in as an inside forward, or run the channel, DCL did it for beards. Moise has it in him, he can dribble, penetrate and has pace. It’s an important part of development.

Really want him to work out. He seems to try too hard to impress when he comes on and ends up looking poor.

It's also difficult to compare him with DCL when he hasn't got Rodriguez to create for him. Yesterday Iwobi came on for DCL and then Kean for Rodriguez.

He will probably start in the cup game but with our second string midfield so chances might be scarce.

Can't play him ahead of DCL for obvious reasons.

If we can get our money back grab it use it to bring in a proven striker who can come in and compete with DCL and also compliment him and Richarlison if we decide we want to go back to 2 up top. Kean has potential but I think he needs to play games to realise it and after this busy first month its only one game a week until mid December so his opportunities could be limited. I would rather sell as if he has a poor loan his value and confidence could really suffer and we may end up stuck with him like Sandro. It was worth a punt last Summer but he's not what we need at the minute.

As an Italian, Carlo will know all about Kean and will be looking forward to developing him, as he is doing with DCL. I'd be amazed if he had any thoughts about selling him at this point.

I am hoping and rather Kean stays. He’s 20 and will learn and become a better player under Carlo.

DCL is terrific lads, he’s coming on leaps and bounds. But if you are all being honest he didn’t look half the talent Moise does at the same age.

In fact, arguably DCL has improved I’d say 40% under Carlos coaching. We all know it.

Im excited to see how he could coach, develop and improve Moise.

I think Moise, is pivitol, if I’m being very honest he is the one we will look to, to step up if Richarlison or DCL move on.

I haven't heard anything about King but I know someone who claims the links earlier in the window were true about us sniffing around.

Just speculation on my part as I dont fully believe other fans on social media regarding transfers but if we are still in for Zaha then it makes sense any CF coming in would be a cheaper bargain type deal which King is.

We aint spending £40-50 million on Zaha then dropping another £30 million+ on a striker who is essentially going to be a back up bench player for DCL.

Correct, we wont do either of those things lol

Agree with you here Neiler.

Looks like Kean has been asked to play target man vs Salford then on the right against WBA.

He looks the part of a target man physically but for me hes more of a poacher like Inzaghi.

My guess is that Ancelotti will improve his all round game over this season. At the end of the season he will still only be 21.

People wanting to sell him have short memories, hes the same age as DCL was 3 years ago. Even at the end of this season he will be the same age as DCL 2 years ago.

DCL looked the player he is now at 22.5 years old. Thats 2 and a bit more seasons of development for Kean...

Also, surely if Juve want to take him back a penny must drop at some point and people have to wonder WHY they want a 20 year old italian international back when they can have the pick of players.

Makes no sense to me if we sell other than if the fee we brought in allowed us to sign someone who Ancelotti and Brands was a better option.

The problem is DCL has been our #1 rightly or wrongly ever since we sold Lukaku, He's gotten so much experience and game time to tune his skills that Kean will never ever get that amount of time, I feel like Kean is only going to get good when he gets a considerable amount of game time each week and not 10/15 minutes.

....I don’t get these shouts that Kean ‘just needs to play’. DCL earned his game time, just as Anthony Gordon earned more game time than Kean at the end of last season.

We all want this lad to succeed but folk should stop making excuses for him. He needs to prove himself to be effective at this level, he has to earn his place in the team, he has to grasp opportunities when they arise.

AT that age DCL was still being a nuisance and occupying 2 defenders, he wasn't producing particularly much but he was doing what was required. Keane plays a different roll and is not yet doing it very well. I like him and feel it is just him adjusting, he does need to improve match on match though.

Wednesday is a really big game for him.

It's not an excuse, Some youngsters need to play week in week out, I'm not saying he deserves to start or get a huge amount of minutes, Players like Sancho/Pogba moved away from PL clubs to get game time and play week in week out and they become £80+ million players.
I know these two are world class and it's an extreme comparison but the example is there.

SOME youngsters need to play more to show some improvement but Kean has had his chances. He was so poor last season he got pulled off as a sub. He's just never shown any quality in a blue shirt at all. He's had plenty of time in training to settle in and prove himself but instead he's proved he has an awful first touch even against the likes of Salford and he shows off with tricks against West Brom rather than getting the simple things right.

Personally I think the money has gone to his head and his attitude stinks. The sooner he is out of the club the better.

Needs to cut out the showboating and learn the basics.
