It is being quoted that he is on £65k a week - which is quite a lot! At this point in time seems a strange one, but we will only know in 24 hours if it really is or not.
He’s on 2.7 mill a year. Tom Davies in the next point up at 3.2mill.

You’re messing aren’t you? Never known a player get such an easy ride off fans. We even had people saying hey starts, he scores’ when he got given a sympathy pen in the last minute after sticking the place out against a league 2 side.

Not sure what the deal is, someone said earlier it’s no loan fee and they will cover his wages. Which just sounds stupid to me.

Meh. I was making a serious point. I’ve said for ages I don’t think he Was seen as a viable option to play, I honestly think we would have picked iwobi/Walcott/Bernard instead if someone got injured. £50/60k a week isn’t huge money in general terms but it’s a lot for a glorified vellios.
maybe he is a bad influence in the dressing room so they wanted to rid him for this season whilst we aim to win the league
