Fair points. But questions on his attitude will persist, late to team meetings twice already and was late to an Italy meeting also in the same period. If Silva honestly thought he was good enough to play ahead of DCL and Tosun, he would. He's shown very, very little in his appearance thus far, albeit brief.

If he's not arsed there's nothing we can do. If we get offered what we paid for him back then I'd take it and go out and buy an actual established striker.

Unfortunately people think because he´s young and we´ve paid a lot of money it´s as simple as playing him and reaping the rewards. Football just isn´t like that, if it´s clear that he´s not pulling weight then why should he be given a month worth of starts to stink the place out?

Does that not raise an issue then?

If Kean vlasic lookman etc dont want to play here then sell them?

So any good young player who is mis used should just be shut off? How about we give them game time and let them play football?

How many good young talents are we going to sign and have them want to leave within a year before the fan base actually open their eyes and see how much we are setting ourselves back by not backing them

Reckon before long these types of players will be household names at the top end of football whilst fans still try to justify how they were crap because x sacked manager didnt play them.

With regards to Lookman and Kean, I think it´s clear the manager wanted/wants to play them but they´ve got to meet him half way. You can´t just have blind faith in kids who aren´t performing. Fair enough if you think they´re going to be household names but football just doesn´t work like that. For every player who goes on to achieve greatness there´s plenty who end up having fairly average careers.

no, It's called giving him a fair chance and not giving him 20 minute cameos and expecting him to do bits, Put him up front with IWOBI behind him and lets see what happens, He's only played with Gylfi behind him who is a shadow this season. He got rightfully dropped for Southampton for being late. How many other games have players in our team who have been utter muck still start games and the next game and the game after that.

Mate half of our team are average players ... and our strikers are DCL9 ( who has played 80 odd games despite being crap in 90% of them ) , tuson and niasse ( who isn’t even a real footballer)

But he is saying publicly kean works hard in training g. He has got no reasonable chance in matches. He would need to be given 6 or 7 games like all the rest did. Not 10 mins here and there. He has worked hard when on the pitch. Players like dcl have got 10 matches in a row without doing anything. He is a talent and it would be typical everton to go and mess it all up and have the championship standard dcl lead the line for our mid table club. We need to use kean.
