Anybody headed to the Yanks/RedSox series in London coming up next weekend?
According to MLB TV, West Ham seems to have their 21st century version of Riverfront Stadium ready for some baseball...

Agree entirely. Prices are way over the top and the seating plan is bizarre - wasn't at all clear to me that half the seats would get a decent view.Tried to get tickets with my Yankees-supporting brother but, the prices were ridiculous for that stadium.
Didn’t make any sense money wise.
Looks super weird too.

Something tells me that the appalling price points are there to fleece the corporate expense accounts, while real fans can sit on the upper level. Maybe. If they're willing. Considering this, I hope they lose their shirts and play for their loyal home fans in future. Should have known. SMH.Prices were appalling, as someone else has said, you can collect dirt cheap tickets for ballgames in the states, close to the day. We had 1st Base seats in San Fran last year and they were $35.

Same seats in london are £350? How's it sold out? to go both games is £640? so you can in theory, fly to New York, stay for a couple of days, have an authentic experience, and see one of the best cities in the world? or go to the soulless stadium?
Would only consider this if it was the Mets.
Good morning mezzrow how are you doing today.Something tells me that the appalling price points are there to fleece the corporate expense accounts, while real fans can sit on the upper level. Maybe. BBC have got the Fox coverage on, which is hopeless for anyone in the UK looking for an introduction to the gameThis BT coverage is hilariously bad.

I'm switching over now - got an At Bat subscription for Father's Day for 50 quid ... which allows me to watch every single game of the season for a fraction of what it would have cost to take the family to London today.
It's only on iPlayer or the BBC sport websiteCouldn't find it on BBC, was just all Glastonbury.
This has been hilarious - on and off the diamond.
A poster on here went. @fc_sexyWell the fact is, it’s sold out.
MLB are trying to push baseball into the UK spectrum. The problem is, is that they aren’t pushing hard enough. Take the official club store for instance, hasn’t been undated for over 12 months, neither has the social media account for it.
The NFL one regularly restocks, the NFL hold big fan events, and whilst I can say as a baseball follower, that I’ve seen loads about it, if I asked my colleagues in work, my friends etc, they’d not have a clue!
If MLB was on Sky, I reckon we’d see a surge, but it’s not. It’s still “Sold out”, but talk about pricing out the average joe!
