STRangers just lost their everyday catcher... What's a worse injury--the AS OF you can replace with a solid bat, or the defensively solid 120+ game catcher?

I have no doubt it's the catcher (the most important position on the field, imho). No comparison. For example we'd be hurt far worse if it was Miggy, and we have an experienced backup catcher who is a solid receiver, game manager, and base defender. Just hate to see it happen to Schwarber. He brings something special to the game.

Many thanks to Billy Beane for sending us Addison Russell. We love that kid. Hard luck finish for the Reds' Finnegan, who threw a no hitter into the seventh, got run to the bench with two on that were driven in after he left, and lost the game in the eighth when Addison went yard on Jumbo Diaz to plate three more. (well, Jumbo got the L, but you know what I mean...)

The 101st Opening Day at Wrigley is the first opening day home win in some time for the Cubs. Hopefully, a good omen... 6 - 1 to start the season, and standing on first in the toughest division in baseball (so far).
