Ooh, yeah should get these in.

NL
East - Mets
Central - Cubs
West - Giants
WC1 - Pirates
WC2 - Cardinals

AL
East - Blue Jays
Central - Royals
West - Astros
WC1 - Rangers
WC2 - Indians

WS Cubs over Astros. It's time @mezzrow

Lot of similar picks. Think having two punching bags in the NL Central this year means we'll have 3 NL Central playoff teams again. Which will be unfair to a lot of other talented NL teams. Seems like the balance of power is really shifting back to the NL after the AL being dominant for quite some time.

Otherwise, it seems like not much has changed since last year.
I can live with these picks. Who knows what the Dodgers will do this year, I pick them over the Cards for the fifth spot. Tribe and Rangers are plausible for WC spots, and the others are obvious in the AL. Too bad the world will end in September or October 2016.

On the lighter side, I'll be doing my best to stay up through tonight's opener from Anaheim. (eats some coffee flavored M&M's...)

So, I've had all winter to prepare for myself for something I knew would be bad, but there's no preparing for something this bad...

It's gonna be one long summer. Like, literally. The game keeps going if you can't get any outs.

@TheFinnFan Turn back now mate you don't need to subject yourself to this. Please, I'm begging you, turn back now.

Who won the sausage race?

Pirates, Cards, Cubs have to play each other a lot though. Frase may hopefully be an upgrade at 3B over Alvarez by simply not striking out and playing defense. Or hopefully he can just have a hot streak until Kang returns. Pirates could take a step back, so could the Cards who have no offense. I don't think the central is taking 3 playoff spots.

Agreed. Cards more likely to step back, imho. I think the other WC team comes from the West. Dodgers will either figure it out or not. I'm guessing they do, with no real reason why. Just a gut thing. I'm no Dodgers fan either, far from it. I hear hype about the DBacks, but... (shakes head) Other than the the Nats and Mets, the East is just a burning trash heap. Nats + Dusty = ??. Not an optimist. Everyone will feast on the bottom end of the NL East.

They did it last season, and the Brewers and Reds are both significantly worse than they were last year.

I really think the Giants are going to win it again.

My Mariners will probably be out of it by May
