Mina vs zouma

Zouma was potentially world class when he was in France and Chelsea (so im told) signed him to take over Terrys place long term...

Hes had an awful injury but at the same time hasnt hit the top heights and, although hes still only 24 i doubt that he would ever go on to be the best or, one of the best in the league.

Mina is a bit of an anomaly at the moment. Considered the best in Colombia and Brazil but not classed as good enough to be CB at Barca.

Mina is our new player and someone Brands and Silva really wanted and so i think its between Zouma and Keane for the other shirt.

Not sure it either of them is the ideal partner for Mina yet...i think theyre both far off the quality of Rudiger or Koulibaly for example.

Wouldnt be shocked to see another CB partner for Mina signed with Keane aa 3rd choice.

To be honest mate if there is one place on the pitch we dont need to sign anyone its at CB, not when there are certain areas that do need to be addressed, RB and striker for example, we should be fine for at least 2 more windows at CB, especially if we can keep Zouma as 3rd choice

Yeah your right they are about the same size. I’ve always just thought Keane was more commanding.

Can't drop Keane after the way he's turned it around. Harsh on Zouma, but the logical thing is to play the players we actually own.

So weird having a thread like this after the utter guff we saw last year.

You play your best two imo. If you only play the players that are yours there was no point in getting Zouma on loan.

You play your best two imo. If you only play the players that are yours there was no point in getting Zouma on loan.

Yeah, not disagreeing – but when they're all playing at the same level then you have to factor it in.

Mina starts.. every time. I like seeing the boy Keane alongside him being English, but if he drops his std at all Zouma comes back in. Keane may need to even lift his level more which is the best he has been since joining. Don’t forget we have not defended corners and free kicks into the box as well in any other game this season.. so this is the partnership to stay now until one messes up.

We have potentially the best CB pairing since Jags/Lescott.

3/5/2 we haven’t hit the wing backs for
3/4/3 we haven’t got the wide players with defensive capabilities needed
It’ll be 4/2/3/1 or 4/3/3 ( basically both formations are the same under Silva ) till the seasons end
