I find it almost hysterical the older generations berate us as self-entitled when all we want is similar opportunities that were given to older generations:

- semi-decent education
- affordable/free tuition
- viable opportunities to get on the housing ladder

If I had a £1 for every time I heard us millenials called self-entitled, I might be able to afford a house in the economy that your generations crashed. X

Only one of those points is true in my humble opinion.

Unless you are talking about the top 10%, I would say education is better nowadays than it has been in the past.

It has always been difficult to get on the housing market. The only time you can say it was made slightly easier is when the right to buy act was passed. Older generations weren't paying £90 for a set of skinny jeans and £4 for a cup of coffee, if they spent less making themselves immaculately dressed and sacrificed for a couple of years they too would be able to get on the housing ladder. Especially seeing newbuilds only require 5% upfront nowadays.

Believe me, the opportunities, the standard and the fairness of education that millennials receive is much greater than of previous generations.

And I find it slightly amusing talking about wanting similar opportunities without considering what growing up in the 50s, 60s, 70, 80s etc was like.

I see an inherent lack of respect in the youth today through simple things such as not stepping out of the way of women with pushchairs.

In my considerable experience of the three blokes down the pub who have Neck Tattoos, there are only three reasons someone would get one.

1) They are a pathetic Trump-enabling weasel who believes in the supreme power of the Aryan Nation.
2) They are hired muscle on a shady Russian Trawler at the height of the Cold War.
3) They believe that Neck Tattoos are indication to potential employers that under no circumstances should they be employed by them, like some sort of a reverse Masonic Handshake. (Shady Russians Trawler Captains at the height of the Cold War excepted)

I would like to hear from owners of Neck Tattoos if they feel wrongly categorised by the above, or even if they have a fourth option they would like to share with the rest of the thread.

Self obsessed, self entitled, Toni and Guy hair cuts, drinking ale out of a jam jar whoppers.

4. Prerequisite for getting on the Jermy Kyle Show and attending Ingerland away matches.

This is a weird thread considering the vast majority of people on here are millennials. Born between the years 1980 - 1995 (with a 3 year buffer to take into account parents' age, education etc).

So basically anyone between the age of 19 and 40 is a millennial.

Stop moaning, eat properly, get a real job and move out of your mum's house.
