Fake news

Arteta was my favorite player since I started watching but they were terrible paired together. Fellani dominated the ball in the defensive half. For the most part Arteta had nothing to do and they were getting in each other's way. They were both better when one or the other was injured or when Fellani played CFbutnotreallyCF (which wasn't Fell's best position).

2008 attacking mid Arteta and Fellani might have been something tho.

nah, not for me

He turned into a massive shobgite when he went to Arsenal. You'd think he had never played for us with the way he acted

He was great when he was here for the most part, but what I would say is that I heard a story about his antics leading up to that move to Arsenal and if what I heard was accurate (and I have every reason to believe it is) then he can do one

If it's any consolation I always thought he was very well presented and neatly coiffured when turning out for us. You didn't do Fellaini as well did you?

Nah didn't cut his but have cut Elstones a good number of times, did Bilyaltetdinov and Baines once. mostly done players from the reds@@@e tho

and how much he gets us. Especially when we helped him with his problem (unwell child)

So maybe he’s in the frame - discuss.
Nothing against the guy. In fact he's one of my favourite players in recent years.

However he has no experience in managing a team (at any level) and his coaching skills are being taught by Pep, which would be absolutely disastrous with the group of players we have at the moment.

One for the future maybe depending on how his career develops. But certainly not at the moment.

I cut his hair for a good few years, while he was with us. the day befor he transferred I cut his hair and he "left" his
wallet in the training ground, I thought hes good for it lol he said he would pass it into me and then the next day transferred to
Arsenal. True story I kid you not
his hair was always immaculate if that's any consolation phil

Do tell.....

Can't understand how this guy would ever be considered ahead of Unsworth alone, let alone more established candidates.

Once saw him dismiss an autograph request from a few kids outside GP, left a bad taste. It would have only taken him a minute.

Arsenal had wanted Fellaini earlier on in the window (maybe a day or two before), which we had rebuffed despite the fact we were under pressure to sell a player to ease issues with the bank

Fellaini's agent Christophe Henrotay was/is very friendly with Arteta's agent (from memory I think he's called Ibanez(!?)) - through a conversation between the two, Arteta found out about Arsenal's desire to buy a centre mid and he instigated the deal himself by asking his agent to see if Arsenal would be interested in signing him. They were. Arteta then used every trick in the book on deadline day to make sure he got his move, including threatening to go public about his desire to move to Arsenal, which would have caused us big problems with the bank if they knew we had turned down a sizeable offer for a player when they wanted us to address our overdraft issue.

In the end, Arteta had us over a barrel and he knew it. We managed to get £10m for him I think, which was Arsenals 2nd bid after we turned down a pathetic £5m. The only concession he made, after we had agreed to sell him, was to submit a transfer request to help us "sell" the sale to the fans

Moyes and Kenwright were shocked at how he acted in trying to get his move as he had never really given any indication that he's be capable of that in the past, although his agent had been a pretty tough negotiator for the two major contracts he had sorted for Arteta here

the idea of felli at arsenal is interesting, arteta did well for them, but wasn't quite the fulcrum he was at everton in his prime, a young felli in the center would really be something different for arsenal

Dont have a sunbed lol he's actualy a realy nice guy to be honest. I like him
Most people are nice. However in my head, he's one of the pantomime villain's henchmen. (Bill is Widow Twanky and Moshiri is the wicked witch) I refuse to be swayed unless he personally delivers a 61878 capacity waterfront stadium for the season after we win our 10th league!
