Arsenal, 1 point of 5th, top of their European group with a manager who has won domestic and European trophies for fun and had the second highest win ratio at any club he's managed decide to sack him cos some bellends with A4 posters had had enough.

Absolute joke of a club.
Pot / kettle going full steam, either that or we really, really, need an Irony font to go with the still required sarcasm one.

You know what, Moyes in for the rest of the season with Arteta as assistant and then taking over in the summer probably wouldn't be the worst scenario

Moyes can steady the ship and get Arteta ready to take the reins so he gets a fresh start and doesn't inherit this mess

It'll get all the players used to him and he can get nice and settled without having the pressure of keeping us up and rescuing this season around his neck

Moyes gets his last hurrah, the club gets stabilised and we can then look forward to a new journey with Arteta at the helm next season

There's worse ways of doing it tbh
Bring Tim Cahill in too as a coach

Looking like he's going to Arsenal now.
Arsenals director and contract negotiatior seen coming out his gaff at 1.30am.
An orgy or sorting out the managers job.

Hope his first game is against us.

Personally think it will be a career suicide for him making his first managerial job at a club like Arsenal were expectations are high. They will be on his back instantly after a few bad results. Not sure if the players are gonna be motivated enough to work hard for him.

Yes - he should opt for the safety of taking over here in the middle of a relegation battle! lol

Bit of a panic sign from Arsenal. Doesn't seem like their first choice to me, you'd think they would have moved in earlier if so.

...it’s a fantastic first job, especially after the last manager failed. Great club, big following, fabulous stadium. Even if he fails somebody else will take a chance on him. Indeed, he could go elsewhere and bomb. Sometimes you get one chance at a job like that, so you have to grab it.

What a dream start for any manager, very progressive appointment by Arsenal rather than picking another off the manager Merry-go-round. 1/10 looks like it’s a done deal.

Less experienced at managing than our caretaker manager who believes he doesn’t have the experience.

mid rather have what we’ve got than the crying turncoat.

We ourselves should have high expectations, it’s a competition to win after all otherwise what’s the point . It’s not a detriment to being realistic either, having high expectations should be a positive not something frowned upon and failures can be learned from.
