Rumours that we are looking to off load Keane ? What sort of madness is this.

..for me it’s about how you want to play. Keane isn’t the most mobile but he can cope if the back four plays deep so forwards don’t exploit the space behind him. Trouble is, when our back four sits deep we struggle to get high up the pitch. Also, Keane needs athletic types around him.

If we want to be more expansive, it could be difficult with a deep sitting back four.

I highly doubt we're looking to move him on, but if it is true it could be that we're trying to flog assets that actually still have value. Keane is one of the few that might fit that bill. That, plus Holgate seemingly being ahead of him now could mean he moves on and we try again in the summer.

..Keane, Williams, Mori, Holgate, jagielka, Feeney, Pennington, Browning are the CBs I can name off the top of my head. That’s simply too many, especially when it’s difficult to name the obvious first team partnership. Links with Vogt of Hoffenheim and Soumaoro of Lille suggests Allardyce isn’t happy with what he’s got, but good housekeeping dictates he must move some out.

WRD saying club is 'really concerned over Keane and mental problems'.

This season is just an all round disaster.
That has the ring of truth. His defending has been the worst I have ever seen from an Everton player, some accolade for a, gulp, £30m defensive signing
