He will become a central part of the team when he settles properly into the club.
It must have been very difficult for him playing in a team which had no idea what it was doing.
As a central defender when we were leaking goals he was always going to be blamed and this was going to affect his game.

This injury will help him regroup , working under Sam will help rebuild his confidence and in time we will see the player we thought we were buying.

People can question different aspects of Sam's ability as a manager , they cannot question his ability in coaching a team to defend.

Not so obvious then is it.
Well we're talking about Everton so I don't expect us to make any signing we should really be making.

We'll end up giving jags and williams 1 year extensions, promoting Martina to captain and signing a right back for 30m

I think he will come good, needs to mature a bit but with a partner of similar age they can get confident, him and Holgate, maybe Mori will make a decent partnership as long as they get a left footed LB in soon

He's been bad to mediocre since he got hurt. He looked good before. At least he can win a ball in the air. He's the only one on the entire club.

If you read the first 4 pages of this thread and then read the last 4 pages you would think we signed Varrane and ended up with Hibbos less talented brother
A bit of perspective is needed

by all accounts hes been injured most of the season and playing through it, plus hes gone from a settled team to a mad one
