What's his injury? Read somewhere it's a gashed foot. Wasn't that what caused him to miss a few games and then end up in hospital with an infection earlier this season? Worrying of its a recurrence / flare of the same inury. Asks questions of why he hasn't been left to heal properly.

It was a fresh cut but right on top of the old one so re-opened that. Just super unfortunate.

When i was playing (badly) the shin guards i wore were about the size and weight of cricket pads, these days you see a player come off and slide those tiny lightweight looking things from under their socks. lol
