Despite the weirdos coming out, the principle that a man should not hit a woman is rooted in ethical, social, and psychological considerations.

Morally, as the stronger sex, violence from a male to a female is rightly frowned upon.

Socially, many cultures uphold norms of chivalry and protection towards women, emphasising respect and non-violence. It is fair to say that men are often stronger than women, making the kind of violence witnessed at Manchester airport harmful and dangerous.

The psychological impact of violence that this woman suffered will no doubt result in severe trauma. Any male not calling this is not a man.
Any person not calling a kick to the head followed by a stamp to the head out as callous and murderous, isn't in a position to offering opinions on ethics.
Especially in light of the perpetrator in this case being a so called police officer.

I am a man, and have been brought up to understand moral principles regarding women and children. You are morphing into MAGA nonsense, fuelled by Stella.
Perhaps you'd like to address that an officer of the law is dealt with gender neutral by that same law when attacked? The law see's any constabulary being attacked far beyond the rights and wrongs of misogynist and misandrist thinking.
It's very rich coughing up 'morality' re the kick and the stamp.
You are morphing into the gestapo supporting nonsense that allowed their owner to wreak havoc on all of europe. Fuelled by your 'brought up moral principles'.
Time to get with modern day grandpa.

We can all see that if you had a wife, you'd be fine with beating her. Go you.

Hitting a woman is not OK, unless you think it is OK.

If the latter expect men to beat you.

For me, what the police office did is the height of toxic masculinity.

He’s lost his head, and thought violence was the answer.

It never is. He’s ruined his career and complicated the justice process due to his actions.

To criticise the officer isn’t a defence of the man he kicked, not is it ignoring the act of violence towards a woman.

I think the blows to the head and the escalation of the matter has probably added to the distress of the woman officer.

She’s all over social media, and part of a massive news story that will rumble on, all because her colleague let violence rule his head.

Something I’m sure she could do without whilst she comes to terms with what happened to her.

I hope she gets all the support necessary from the met.
