Manchester airport video shows lead-up to police kick incident

A constable was suspended after a shorter clip of the same incident at Manchester Airport circulated.

BBC ran an article of a written play by play of the incident. Which is pretty much what I said yesterday.

But at the end they state five videos are out there. One video which I haven't seen yet, this is how they describe it below. (Just to note officer X is the officer who does the kick/The man in blue was the guy who was kicked/The guy in grey was the other attacker)

"Another video appears to show Officer X later approaching the man in grey, stamping on his thigh, and hitting him on the back of the head with a taser."

Are you sure you haven't seen that? It sounds like the one where the lad in grey has his hands behind his head sat on the seat and the "Officer X" goes over to him and stamps on him. I can't remember which video that's on but that was out whe this all came out.

However, we bestow a great honour on the Police to keep law and order, indeed even shoot us if deemed necessary, therefore all police should held to the highest of accounts. Otherwise consent will be withdrawn on mass.

If anyone is condoning a head kicking you most likely like to hit women on the quite too in my experience.

No he never. They grey shirted lad threw the first punch. He started all the fist fighting.

Looks to me like the lad in grey shoves the Officer's arm (maybe if he had the cuffs) but to me it looks like the first actual punch is thrown by the Officer. I'd say that was possibly justifiable if they could then control the situation but that actually escalated it so that the Officers lost control.

I've seen women mental health workers attacked many times it's not very nice to witness but they bare risk as much as i or anyone else in role. Just can't go around dishing out revenge punishment. We are not in China or Iran or such like.

Watched it a few times and there was obviously scuffling. But the first real arm pulled back with conviction punch is grey t shirt. From that punch on is where it really escalated to a free for all.

Swinging and connecting with haymakers at police and especially a woman officer they deserve the kicking they got!

They could of defused the situation by not resisting arrest but they chose to try and fight there way out of it.
They got tasered and volleyed its their own fault.

Im not a massive fan on how policing is used today but for that incident they were right.

Mate the first full on punch with conviction was rambo in the grey shirt. Until then it was scuffling as they looked like trying to detain.
Its hard to comment on anything else as i wasnt in that situation. Id have probably gave him a good kick in the head aswell after seeing him lay into that female officer.

Disagree why the officer needs to lose his job, what if they tried and succeeded to grab one of the guns of a police officer that they had punched to the ground. We could be talking about a whole different story now, just because you have a uniform on it doesn't take away human instinct in certain situations.

The fella went to work that day probably not expecting two rats to start punching him and his colleagues, he may have feared for his life and adrenalin has kicked in.

You stated I was the type to hit a woman though on the ‘quiet’. Quite a sweeping statement that.

And now here you are accepting a woman should just accept the risk of being punched by a man because of her job?! We live in a civilised society, it doesn’t matter what line of work they do, we should never an accept a woman being hit by a man.

If you witnessed a woman being hit I hope you stepped in.
